PORTLAND — Linda Dolloff is due to be sentenced today for her conviction on charges she tried to kill her husband with a baseball bat and then shot herself to make it look like someone else committed the crime.

The Standish woman was convicted last year of attempted murder.

She’s due to be sentenced today in Portland. She faces up to 30 years in prison.

Last May a jury found that Dolloff beat her husband with a ball bat on April 12, 2009, and then shot herself to make the attack look like a home invasion.

Dolloff has appealed her conviction.
