HOCKEY

QMJHL: Nicholas Champion made 44 saves and the Lewiston Maineiacs got goals from five players in a 5-2 win over the visiting Saint John Sea Dogs at Lewiston.

Anthoine Houde-Caron and Olivier Dame-Malka scored first-period goals, Samuel Henley and Etienne Brodeur added second-period goals and Michael Chaput scored the final goal in the third period.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL: Harrison Rafferty and Jason Gorman combined for 53 points as Berwick Academy (1-3) earned a 68-50 win over Lexington Christian Academy (0-2) in Berwick. Berwick Academy held a 22-point lead (66-44) with three minutes left. Gorman finished with three 3-pointers.

Logan Bement added six points. Mark Doremus led Lexington with 13 points.
