BIDDEFORD — Colby was 8 of 8 from the free-throw line over the final 1:42 to hold off the University of New England for a 58-53 victory Tuesday night in a women’s college basketball game.
Rachael Mack had 12 points with seven rebounds and two blocks for the White Mules (5-1), who are tied for 25th nationally in the USA Today/ESPN Division III poll. Diana Manduca finished with 12 points, four assists and two steals.
Kelley Paradis scored 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting to pace the Nor’easters (5-4).
BOWDOIN 89, HUSSON 55: Nicole Coombes, Colleen Sweeney and Jill Henrikson each had 12 points as the Polar Bears (5-1) routed the Eagles (2-4) at Bangor.
Kaitlin Donahoe and Allie Piscina each chipped in 10 points for Bowdoin, which led 51-22 at halftime. Coombes grabbed 10 rebounds.
BATES 104, THOMAS 65: Jessie Igoe scored 16 points as the Bobcats (6-1) routed the Terriers (2-3) at Waterville.
Lauren Dobish had 14 points and Taryn O’Connell and Meredith Kelly added 13 apiece for Bates. Kellie Martel led Thomas with 15 points.
MIAMI 81, (11) GEORGETOWN 72: Riquina Williams scored 23 points and grabbed six rebounds to help Miami (8-1) beat visiting Georgetown (7-2) in overtime.
(14) KENTUCKY 77, TENNESSEE TECH 53: Victoria Dunlap scored 30 points as Kentucky (6-1) routed Tennessee Tech (5-2) at Lexington, Ky.
(22) MARYLAND 79, LOYOLA, MD. 61: Lynetta Kizer scored 21 points and Tianna Hawkins added 17 points and 12 rebounds to help Maryland (8-1) beat Loyola (2-6) at College Park, Md.
(24) DEPAUL 67, PITTSBURGH 51: Sam Quigley had 17 points and nine assists, and Keisha Hampton scored 15 points as DePaul (9-1, 1-0 Big East) won at Pittsburgh (4-4, 0-1).

BATES 76, UM-FARMINGTON 69: Alex Gallant scored 17 points to lead the Bobcats (6-1) over the Beavers (1-4) at Lewiston.
Nick Schmiemann added 13 points and Mark Brust and Ryan Weston each scored 11.
Eric Taylor led the Beavers with 25 points.
BOWDOIN 83, MAINE MARITIME 68: Will Hanley had 18 points and the Polar Bears (4-2) pulled away in the second half by hitting 16 of 25 field goals (64 percent) against the Mariners (3-5) at Brunswick.
Shawn Dostie scored 14 of his 20 points in the first half for the Mariners, who trailed 42-37 at halftime.
(4) KANSAS 81, (13) MEMPHIS 68: Markieff Morris had 16 points and his twin brother Marcus added 14 to lead Kansas (8-0) to a victory over Memphis (7-1) in the Jimmy V Classic at New York.
(8) SYRACUSE 72, (7) MICHIGAN STATE 58: Scoop Jardine had 19 points and Rick Jackson added 17 points and 17 rebounds as Syracuse (9-0) built a 38-29 halftime lead and held off Michigan State (6-3) in the Jimmy V Classic at New York.

USM 7, PLYMOUTH STATE 0: Erin Banfield had three goals in the third period when the Huskies (2-6-1, 2-5-1 ECAC East) scored six times to pull away from the Panthers (0-7-1, 0-7-1) at Plymouth, N.H.
