NEW YORK — Aftershocks continue from Charlie Sheen’s stormy night last month in a Manhattan hotel.

Capri Anderson, the woman who was found locked in the bathroom of his suite, said she’s suing the actor for battery and false imprisonment, and plans to file a criminal report with New York City police.

Appearing on ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Monday, the adult-film actress said Sheen, 45, yelled racial slurs, threw a lamp at her and grabbed her by the throat.

The actor was briefly hospitalized after security at the Plaza Hotel reported he was disorderly and had broken furniture in his room. The “Two and a Half Men” star voluntarily went with authorities for a psychiatric evaluation. He was released from the hospital the same day. His publicist, Stan Rosenfield, said at the time that Sheen had an adverse reaction to medication.

Anderson told “GMA” host George Stephanopoulos that she had been hired for $3,500 to join Sheen for dinner on Oct. 25. She called “absolutely untrue” reports that she expected to be paid for sex.

Sheen’s attorney, Yale Galanter, denied Anderson’s charges. The allegations are a “blatant attempt to cash in on his celebrity,” Galanter said.

Sentenced to three years, Snipes still free

MIAMI — The attorney for Wesley Snipes said the actor has not yet surrendered to federal authorities to begin serving a three-year prison sentence for a tax conviction.

Attorney Daniel Meachum said in an e-mail Monday that he’s focused on trying to free Snipes rather than a surrender date. Snipes has been free on bail for two years while appealing his 2008 conviction for failure to file income tax returns.

A Florida federal judge last week ordered Snipes to begin serving his sentence but did not set a date.

The 48-year-old Snipes starred in the “Blade” trilogy, “White Men Can’t Jump” and other films. He has recently been in Atlanta working on a new movie called “Master Daddy.”

T.I.: Addiction started with dental surgeries

NEW YORK — T.I. said his drug problem started when he received prescriptions for Oxycontin and hydrocodone after a series of dental surgeries this year.

“After the pain went away, I kept taking it. I had like five, six prescriptions. So, I had, like 80 pills. Everybody else might drink or smoke a blunt; I took a pain pill,” the 30-year-old said in an interview win the December issue of Vibe magazine.

T.I. said he is now clean and sober, thanks in part to his September arrest in Los Angeles. Police found ecstasy pills on him, and while the case was eventually dropped, a judge found him in violation of his probation stemming from a 366-day prison stint for trying to buy illegal guns and sentenced him to 11 months in jail.

Prior to going back to jail, the Atlanta rapper attended therapy sessions to help kick his addiction to pills and codeine.
