that in no-way reflected their previous 14-7 close defeat at the

hands of the Warriors back on Oct. 8, the Capers were served up

their most lopsided loss of the season in their Nov. 5 semifinal

trip to Wells, falling down 28-0 at the half. After the break, Cape

Elizabeth gave up two further touchdowns in under three minutes,

and ultimately collapsed under the weight of the Warriors’ assault,

losing 47-7. The Capers were outscored 72-7 in their last two games

of 2010.
