KITTERY — Police are investigating more than a dozen cases of car vandalism that occurred in the Kittery Point area Saturday night.

Police Sgt. Charles Denault said the department received eight calls Saturday night and four calls this morning with reports of damage to vehicles parked in Kittery Point. He said police have identified additional cars with damage, but the owners of the vehicles haven’t notified the department.

Denault said the damage is estimated between $5,000 to $10,000. Police are pursuing a few leads in the case.

“The detectives will be aggressively following up on the leads we have,” Denault said.

Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to call Kittery Police at 439-1638.
