GORHAM – Fourth-seeded Gorham exploded for 3 first half goals against eighth-ranked Kennebunk in the Western Class A semifinals on Oct. 30, as Rams clashed against Rams, and Gorham held on to win 3-1. Under five minutes into the first half, senior forward Connor Bell hit a sliding goal, and junior midfielder Kevin Lubelczyk booted in a second with 19:06 left. Ten minutes later, senior back Seth Wing kicked in a penalty shot to make it 3-0. Although Kennebunk rallied for a goal early in the second half, Gorham held on to advance to the finals.
