NEW FACES
• Amanda Roy of Durham and Elissa Guerrette of Portland have joined the Portland Water District as environmental educators. Roy has interned with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection’s Biological Monitoring Unit, and Guerrette has experience teaching middle school children and has volunteered with Friends of Casco Bay.
• Steven Trockman of Topsham has been named director of community relations and outreach for Mid Coast Health Services. He brings experience in public health and communications to this position.
• Sean Roy-Becker has been named private banking officer at TD Bank in wealth management. He has 15 years’ experience in wealth management, finance and banking.
• Jonathan Cottrell has joined Norway Savings Asset Management Group as business development officer and relationship manager.
• Dr. Alain Montegut has joined Martin’s Point Health Care as vice president of primary care development. He began his professional career as a solo family physician in 1981.
• Walter McCallister of Standish has joined Saco & Biddeford Savings Institute as a mortgage loan officer. He was previously employed with Key Bank.
• Dr. April Guille and Dr. Gary Stuer have joined Portland Veterinary Specialists. Guille received her degree from the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2008 and completed her surgery residency at the Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital in Langhorne, Pa. Stuer is bringing his experience in integrative medicine and acupuncture to the practice.
• William Heil has joined SMRT as electrical engineering discipline leader.
• Ruth Tinsley, Jonathan Gamble and Haven Lindsey have joined Oldham Innovative Research. Tinsley and Gamble will serve as research associates and Lindsey will serve as office administrator.
PROMOTIONS
• Matthew Woodside has been promoted to designer/developer II with TD University at TD Bank. He has four years of experience and joined TD Bank in 2007.

• Longfellow Books recently celebrated its 10th anniversary of selling books in Portland.

• Kimberly Twitchell of Cumberland Center has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Maine Real Estate & Development Association. She is a commercial relationship manager with the commercial real estate group at TD Bank.
• Lisa Laliberte, of State Farm in Lewiston, has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
• Danielle Ripich, president of the University of New England, has been elected to the Maine Development Foundation’s Board of Directors.
