The Jay Moody Memorial Golf Tournament, formerly the Mellow Groover’s Golf Tournament, will be held on Oct. 8 at Sugarloaf. Proceeds will benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Golfers may register as individuals or as groups of two, three or four, with odd groups being matched up to form complete teams of four. The Tour de Farmington is a one-day bike tour in Franklin County scheduled for Sunday. Cyclists have a choice of a 19-mile or 70-mile route. A local foods lunch, water and snacks will be provided.
