On Sunday, Robert Riley and Missy Byrnes, both of Standish, attended the chili cook-off at the American Legion hall, Post 26, on Elm Street in Biddeford. Byrnes was representing Smiling Hill Farm in Westbrook. The cook-off was a fundraiser to keep the hall open. More than $1,000 in donations and pledges were raised Sunday.
