GORHAM — A ruptured gas line forced the town of Gorham to close a section of South Street, near Bramblewood Road, around 4:15 p.m. today.

A dispatcher for the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department said a contractor working near an apartment building in the area of 156 South St. may have caused the break. No injuries have been reported.

Gorham’s Fire Department is still on the scene.
