 Kittery Police are searching for a woman who robbed the Rite Aid pharmacy on Shapleigh Road in Kittery at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Kittery police Detective Raymond Hazen said the woman approached the counter and requested a number of prescriptions. There was no weapon shown.

She left the store immediately with an undetermined number of drugs and got into a dark four-door sedan driven by another person. The vehicle continued along Shapleigh road. he said.

The woman was described as about 5 feet 8 inches with reddish blond hair. She was wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses and a dark hooded sweat shirt.

Hazen said the department is continuing to investigate.
