PORTLAND – A Portland man was charged with stabbing another man early Sunday after a fight broke out at a party in East Deering.
Police said that 23-year-old Jeffrey Orne was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after witnesses identified him as the man who stabbed 28-year-old Richard Boyle of Portland.
Boyle was treated at Maine Medical Center and released.
The stabbing took place around 1 a.m. Sunday during a party at 6 Richmond St. in Portland.
