Sunday River’s Zip Line Tours in Newry open Saturday, the same day as the inaugural rides of the Zip Line Tours at Sugarloaf in Carrabassett Valley.

The zip lines that send harnessed riders through the air from tree to tree consist of six lines that traverse the wooded area on the mountains. Lines range from 100 to 300 feet in length and can be as high as 40 feet off the ground.

The price of the zip line is $39 at both resorts.
