School bags ?and supplies

Starting the first week of August, Windham Food Pantry will start collection of school bags and supplies for needy children. The past couple of years the community very generously helped fulfill this need, which is very much appreciated. They could also use gently used clothing for school-aged children 5-16 years of age as well as clothing for juniors. Please be mindful that this is the time of year when food donations are down considerably and they can always use donations of food and personal products to provide for the ever-increasing numbers of clients. Donations may be made Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Human Resources Building, 377 Gray Road, (next to the Public Safety Building) or call Madeline at 892-1931.
