Missy’s Run fights violence
Loved ones of the late Melissa Cantin Charbonneau have organized a motorcycle ride to honor her memory while raising money for domestic violence programs in Maine and New Hampshire.
Registration for Missy’s Run 80-mile ride is from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the American Legion Post 19 in Sanford. Departure is at 10 a.m. with a noon arrival at American Legion Post 7 in Rochester, N.H, for lunch, entertainment and raffles. Cost is $20 per bike and $5 per additional passenger. Non-riders are invited to Rochester for a $10 donation. Caring Unlimited is among the beneficiaries.

Shaker punch-needle class
Friends of the Alfred Shaker Museum, 18 Shaker Hill Road, will hold a punch-needle class 9 a.m. to noon Saturday with LeAnn Hodgson.
Cost is $10 plus an $18 materials fee. Portable lights, embroidery scissors and magnifying glasses are recommended. Punch needles will also be sold for $22.
