PORTLAND — Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at the Scrub A Dub car wash at 1185 Forest Ave. on Tuesday night.

Police said a white male in his 20s entered the car wash around 8 p.m. carrying a knife. He demanded cash from the register and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

Car wash staff said the robber had a mustache and a tuft of hair on his lower lip. He was wearing jeans and a two-toned hooded sweatshirt.

No one was injured. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 874-8533.
