Waynflete AD earns certification
Waynflete School athletic administrator Ross Burdick has been recognized by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators’ Association as a Certified Athletic Administrator. Burdick demonstrated the highest level of knowledge and expertise in his field. The voluntary certification process included a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s educational background, experience and professional contributions, as well as a rigorous, comprehensive written examination. Burdick has been at Waynflete since 2004.
Deering girls’ basketball hoops camp upcoming
Deering’s girls’ basketball program is hosting a Lady Rams Hoop Camp from June 28 through July 1 for incoming grades 3 through 8. The camp takes place in the Deering gym each day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Cost is $100 per player or $150 per family. Deering is also hosting a summer program beginning Monday for players entering grades 9 through 12. There will be workouts in the Deering gym and games, home and away. Cost is $100. McAuley summer camps upcoming
There is still time to register for summer camps at McAuley. Softball and lacrosse go from June 28-July 2. Basketball camps run from July 5-9 and 12-16. Field hockey and soccer camps are July 19-23.
