BANGOR – Tim Locke hit a pair of home runs to help the Waterville baseball team defeat Cape Elizabeth 9-5 for the Class B championship.

Saturday at Mansfield Stadium, the Purple Panthers rallied from a 3-0 deficit in the bottom of the fourth, as Locke hit a three-run homer to tie the game. Locke’s home run was part of a five-run inning for the Purple Panthers.

Cape Elizabeth finishes 18-2.
