Senate President Elizabeth Mitchell received support today from the three candidates she defeated in Tuesdays race for the Democratic gubernatorial nomination.

 In a Portland press conference, Patrick McGowan, Steve Rowe and Rosa Scarcelli all said they were grateful for a civil campaign that now allows them to support Mitchell in the fall general election.

 “One thing we did was we all traveled the high road,” Rowe said.
