BIDDEFORD – Two men have been arrested in connection with a May 4 robbery of a CVS pharmacy.

Police said they arrested Jessie A. Lavalle, 20, of Wells, last week and Andrew W. Lavalle, 22, of Kennebunk, on Monday. The two are cousins, said JoAnne Fisk, a spokeswoman for Biddeford police.

Jessie Lavalle was charged with robbery and Andrew W. Lavalle was charged with tampering with a witness.

Fisk said Andrew Lavalle threatened a witness in the case. She said he is also considered a person of interest in connection with the robbery and that other charges against him are possilbe.

A man entered the CVS store and demanded oxycontin on May 4th, police said, and a “large quantity” of the drug was taken.

Both men have been held at the York County Jail since their arrests and are being arraigned this afternoon.
