PORTLAND — Boston Red Sox outfielder Mike Cameron was not just a crowd-pleaser at Hadlock Field because he is a major leaguer.

He can win games, too.


Cameron hit a walk-off home run to begin the bottom of the 10th inning as the Portland Sea Dogs beat Trenton 7-6 this afternoon for a sold-out crowd of 7,368 at Hadlock.


Cameron, who appears set to rejoin the Red Sox this week, was 3 for 5 today, including a double and two runs scored.


Santo Luis (3-1) got the win with three no-hit innings of relief.


The Sea Dogs travel  to Reading, Pa. They will return to Hadlock at 7 p.m. Friday against New Britain.
