Traffic is moving this morning after a car accident in the southbound lanes of Interstate 295 in Portland led to a long backup, shortly before 8 a.m.

Two vehicles were involved in the mishap, which took place near Tukey’s Bridge during the morning commute. No one was injured, according to Maine State Police, although a pregnant driver was taken to an area hospital as a precaution.
