The Cheverus High School Jazz Band does some last-minute practicing on March 27 before performing at the state High School Instrumental Jazz Festival at South Portland High School. Eighty-nine jazz bands and ensembles representing 40 schools from around the state competed in the event. Cheverus took third place in the Division II Combos category.
