A man drives a horse-drawn plow down the sidewalks of Saco, circa 1910, in this photograph provided by McArthur Library in Biddeford. Before automobiles became widely used, plowing was done only on the trolley tracks and sidewalks. The photo is attributed to Charles Moody and is featured in “The Old Photographs Series: Saco,” as compiled by Jeffrey A. Scully.
