The Windham High School football team overcame an early deficit with three third-quarter touchdowns on its way to a 35-21 victory over Bangor in Saturday’s Class A state championship game at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland.

The Eagles (11-1) took home the Gold Ball in their first-ever trip to the state title game. Bangor (11-1) suffered its only loss of the year.
