Marada Cook, with her two-year-old son Eli and seven-month-old daughter Ivyn, of Litchfield, signed a banner on Saturday at Marcil Hall on the University of New England’s Biddeford campus advocating for sustainable behavior. The signing of the Environmental Commitment banner was one of the events held at the university as part of the Global Day of Action for Climate Change. The banner, a reused sail donated by Rumery’s Boat Yard in Biddeford, will be hung at the university’s Windward Cafe.
