BATH — The city is seeking nominations in several categories of awards to be presented on the 11th annual Citizen Involvement Day, Saturday, Oct. 10.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the awards ceremony beginning around 12:30 p.m.
The Bath Community Development Office and Citizen Involvement Day committee is accepting nominations for:
• Citizen of the Year: A resident involved in numerous community organizations, who reflects outstanding service to the city.
• Youth Award: A person 21 or younger who has provided a significant civic service to the Bath schools or community. The individual must live in Bath or attend city schools.
• Community Project Award: A noteworthy organization or project that addresses community needs in a significant, positive and nurturing way.
• Community Spirit Award: A person or group demonstrating leadership, vision and unwavering commitment to projects that enhance the community.
Single-page nominations should be sent to Citizen Involvement Day Awards, c/o Bath Community Development Office, 55 Front St., Bath, ME 04530. Nominators should add their name, contact information and references for the nominee.
