The Portland Yacht Club 420 race team had some great results in the Maine State 420 Championship sailing regatta which was held Aug. 6 and 7 at the Harraseeket Yacht Club in Freeport.
Left to right: Charlie Lalumiere of Falmouth and Hannah Twombly of Cumberland Foreside placed second overall. Andy Beckman  of Yarmouth and Chris Swartwout placed third. Sarah Weigel of Falmouth and Maddie Whittier from Cumberland placed ninth out of a total of 46 420 boats competing.
