FREEPORT — The Freeport Historical Society will offer a guided, 45-minute walking tour of the downtown area including architectural and residential history.

Tours are scheduled for Friday, Aug. 7, at noon; Thursday, Aug. 13, at 11 a.m.; Saturday, Aug. 15, at 10 a.m.; Thursday, Aug. 20, at 11 a.m.; Thursday, Aug. 27, at 11 a.m.; Saturday, Aug. 29, at 10 a.m.; Thursday, Sept. 3, at 11 a.m., and Saturday, Sept. 5, at 10 a.m.

Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for members and $2 for children ages 10 and younger. They can be purchased at Harrington House, 45 Main St. Comfortable walking shoes are encouraged and all tours begin at Harrington House.
