The Scarborough Land Conservation Trust invites the public to its annual meeting on Wednesday, March 25, at 7 p.m. at the Scarborough Town Hall.
Townspeople will have an opportunity to meet the board members and learn more about the future of land preservation in Scarborough. Special guests include Stacy Brenner and John Bliss of the trust’s Broadturn Farm, and Tom Hall, Scarborough’s new town manager. Refreshments will be served.
The Scarborough Land Conservation Trust has helped preserve nearly 1,000 acres in Scarborough, including the 434-acre Broadturn Farm, Fuller Farm, the Libby River Farm and Sewall Woods. These properties all have year-round public access. Trail maps are available at wwww.scarboroughmaine.com/slct/trails.html.
