Over 150 dancers from all over Maine will unite this month for evening of tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and modern dance performances to benefit the Autism Society of Maine.

The Dance for Autism, sponsored by Studio for the Living Arts DanceCenter in Gray, will be held Saturday, March 21 at 7 p.m. at the Windham High School Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door, with reserved seating. Tickets are available at the Studio for the Living Arts DanceCenter, 199 Portland Road, Gray. Featured performers include: Arts Moves of Norway; Casco Bay Movers Dance Studio of Portland; Maine Ballroom Dance of Portland; Drouin Dance Center of Westbrook; Bruce Tracy of Portland; Cheryl Greeley’s Theatra Dance Studio of South Portland; Dance Studio of Maine, of Gorham; and Studio for the Living Arts DanceCenter of Gray.

The Autism Society of Maine is a non-profit organization. Their toll-free line (800-273-5200) provides information, referrals an advocacy services to Maine families who are dealing with Autism. ASM also holds family weekend retreats and a summer camp program.
