After postponing the event for a week, Sebago Lake Rotary Club Ice Racing has now canceled auto and motorcycle racing due to poor track conditions.

Organizer Tom Noonan said rain destroyed the track a week ago, and more is scheduled for the coming weekend.

Originally scheduled for Friday, Feb. 20, to coincide with the Maine WinterFest and Chevrolet Derby that is centered around Sebago Lake this weekend, the ice racing was set to take place in “Grondin’s Pit” on Enterprise Drive in Windham.
