Area ice fishing enthusiasts will have a chance to learn from one of the best at Cabela’s.

Dave Genz, a well-known fisherman from Minnesota who travels throughout the United States giving seminars on the topic, will speak at Cabela’s in Scarborough on Thursday, Jan. 22, at 5:30 p.m.

The talk will focus on ice-fishing safety and teach fisherman how to use maps; use electronics on the ice; stay mobile, and dress for ice-fishing success.
