Clynk, the Scarborough bottle and can redemption system, has just opened its 10th return center at the Buxton Hannaford supermarket, and to celebrate, has launched a $3,000 contest.

The Magic Bag $3,000 Giveaway is a series of four weekly drawings that began Monday. The four weekly winners will be entered into the final drawing for the $3,000, to be held on Feb. 18. Those who wish to enter need to have a Clynk card and drop off a Clynk bag during the Magic Bag contest.

Clynk, a card-based service, is only available at Hannaford supermarkets in Scarborough, Windham, Sanford, York, Westbrook, Biddeford, Saco, Millcreek/South Portland, Falmouth and Buxton. In 2008, the company plans to open in 17 additional Hannaford stores.
