Fire and rescue

Between Jan. 8-14, the Cape Elizabeth Rescue squad transported four patients to Maine Medical Center and one to Mercy Hospital.

On Jan. 10, at around 7:30 a.m., the fire department responded to a motor vehicle accident on Ocean House Road.

On Jan. 14, at around 3 a.m., the fire department responded to a water leak on Starboard Drive.

Wires crossed

On Jan. 8, at around 12 p.m, a trash removal vehicle had accidentally snagged two low hanging wires on Shore Road. A Central Maine Power truck that was in the area stopped and secured the lines.
