July 28: Don’t miss our famous Casco Day Supper at the Casco Village Church. Always the last Saturday night in July! This year, enjoy an old-fashioned sing-a-long in the sanctuary prior to and while you’re waiting for the supper.

July 28: The Lunn-Hunnewell Amvets Post #6 Auxillary of New Gloucester will be having their Annual Flea Market on Saturday, July 28 from 9 a.m. To 2 p.m. Rain or Shine. Table rentals are $15. Aug. 1, 2: Schoolhouse Arts Center at Sebago Lake is holding auditions for Wait Until Dark at 6:30 p.m. Bring a short monolog and be prepared to do cold readings from the script. Call the director at 632-2926 for more information.

Aug. 4: Indoor yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church on Route 202 in Gray. Items available for the home, yard, garden, kids, and pets. Bake sale, too. The event is a fundraiser for the church.

Aug. 4-5: Perennial flower sale to raise money for Bonny Eagle Project Graduation, graduating class of 2008, at George E. Jack Elementary School on Route 35, Standish, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. New and unusual perennials started from seed. Seeds donated by Maine seed catalog companies. Most plants just $3.

Aug. 11: The sixth annual Good Old Fashioned Variety Show will be held at 7 p.m. at the Windham Assembly of God, 1051 Roosevelt Trail, Route 302, North Windham. Free will donations will be accepted, to benefit the Monday Meals Program. If interested in performing, call 650-3972 or 642-2834.
