The Naples Public Library is currently hosting a Scholastic Book Fair, and important fundraiser for the children’s library.
Families, teachers and the community are invited to attend the fair, which will be open until Saturday, Aug. 4. The fair offers specially priced books and educational products, including new releases, award-winning titles, children’s classics, interactive software, adult books and current bestsellers from more than 150 publishers.
The library is also hosting Maine magician Dennis Labbe, who returns Aug. 4 at 7 p.m. Labbe performed for a nearly packed house last year and everyone was amazed by his magical skills.
The show is free and special reserved seating will be offered to children who participated in the library’s annual summer reading program.
For more information on these or any other programs, contact the library at 693-6841 during regular library hours: Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Wednesday, 3-8 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The library’s Web site is www.naples.lib.me.us.
