Those with arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, asthma, emphysema, obesity, depression or other long-term health conditions are invited to take part in the Southern Maine Agency on Aging’s “Living Well” program, where better ways of coping and managing will be taught.
“Living Well” is a six-week workshop held once a week, for 2 1/2 hours at each session. Anyone living with a chronic health condition is welcome. A family member, friend or caregiver can also participate.
The next class scheduled will be held at Southern Maine Agency on Aging, 136 U.S. Route 1 in Scarborough on Fridays, July 27- Aug. 31, from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Program fee is $25, which covers costs of workbooks.
