Summerfest-goers,

The Parade Committee would like to thank everyone who participated in Windham Summerfest Parade on June 23, 2007. GREAT JOB! You most definitely kicked off the Summerfest with a fantastic parade! The fact that our community came together to show off their talents, pride and possessions with great attitudes sparked a great beginning to many future Summerfest celebrations!

A special thank you to Hall Implement, North American Industrial Services, The Gold Room, Bisson Moving & Storage, Downeast Energy, D&B Rental, Pleasant River Properties, Norman David and Lee Auto Mall. These businesses contributed time, materials and money to help support the parade and without their support we would not have had such as quality parade! Thank you.

As always our town officials, police department, fire department and rescue teams were an enormous help with the parade. We wish to thank the chiefs and all of the men and women of those departments for helping make the Summerfest Parade safe and fun.

The residents and businesses located on Lotts Drive were very patient and welcoming to our parade participants, many of them cheering from the sidelines and engaging in the festivities. We thank you for your hospitality and enthusiasm!
