Remembered with great love
Thomas W. Hubbell, 79, of Raymond, died Sunday, June 10, 2007.
Son of Katherine Walker and Henry Simonds Hubbell, Tom was born on Dec. 29, 1927, in Boston, Mass. He was a graduate of Milton Academy in Milton, Mass. and St. Louis University in Missouri, and served as an Air Force pilot during the Korean War.
Prior to retiring to Raymond in 1990, Tom’s professional career as an aeronautical engineer included Sikorsky Helicopter in Stratford, Conn. and Eastman Kodak in Rochester, N.Y.
Tom is remembered with great love, respect and gratitude by his wife, Jane of Raymond; his sister, Kay Hubbell of Conway, N.H.; his children, Arlyn, Jocelyn, and Graham; and Smudge. He is pre-deceased by his brother, Hank, of Conway, N.H.
There will be no services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. A gathering in honor of Tom’s life will be announced at a later date. Instead of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Raymond Village Library and the Raymond Rescue Unit in his name.
