Officers

The Lake Region Shriners installed new officers at their Jan. 29 meeting. The new officers are: President John Nesteruk; First Vice President Wayne Whitney and Treasurer Dave Gentz.

Meeting

Rebekah Lodge #71 will hold a meeting Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Odd Fellows Hall. This is roll call and charter member night. The program with Brenda Collett in charge will be a bag exchange so bring something in a bag. In charge of refreshments are: Elsie Haskell, Brenda Collett and William Couthard.

Birthday

Bob Bouchard, Falmouth Road, celebrated his birthday Jan. 29. It was a quiet celebration with family and plenty of cake and ice cream.

Anniversary

Walter and May Lunt, Swett Road, celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary Jan. 26. They enjoyed a quiet day with family.

Meeting

The Windham Health Council will meet Feb. 7 at 1:30 p.m. The meeting will be at the home of Isabelle Temm and refreshments will be served. Anyone is welcome.

Library

The display of Peanuts memorabilia at the Windham Public Library will only be there until Feb. 9. If you have not already done so, you should take the time to view it. There are both vintage and modern pieces on display.

Birthday

Rose Burke, William Knight Road, is celebrating her birthday today, Feb. 2. It will be a quiet day with her husband, Foster, who is recovering from back surgery.
