Members of the Windham Theater Boosters and the middle school and high school drama clubs will be collecting returnables across Windham to raise funds for the 2006-2007 theater program.

The next bottle drive is Saturday, Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Members of the boosters will be knocking on doors throughout the day, or you can leave your returnables at the end of the driveway for collection. Call 838-9860 to make arrangements for collection.

Also, Southern Maine Redemption Center, across from Domino’s Pizza on Heatherwood Drive, will now also be accepting bottles on the booster club’s behalf throughout the year. Make sure to indicate the bottles are for the club.

The objective of the Windham Theater Boosters is to enrich the theater programs, productions, and facilities of Windham High School and Windham Middle School. In addition, the club offers an annual scholarship to a senior pursuing a post-secondary course of study in theater, musical theater, technical theater or dance.
