On Oct. 20, Mayor Bruce Chuluda (second from right) joined City Planner Brooks More (right) and a group of residents from the Westbrook Housing Authority for a ceremony commemorating the installation of a crossing signal on Main Street. More said the signal was paid for with $5,000 from Tim Horton’s and $4,500 from the Westbrook Housing Authority and was put in at the request of the mayor and the residents of the housing authority who were looking for a safe place to cross Main Street. The signal was installed last month, and is expected to be functional later this month.
