Pirates to appear at Dunkin Donuts

Dunkin’ Donuts stores in Westbrook, Scarborough and Windham will thank loyal patrons with a week of customer appreciation events, beginning Monday, Oct. 17, through Sunday, Oct. 23.

Activities include in-store appearances by the Portland Pirates, tickets

and merchandise giveaways, and a donation to support local youth hockey programs.

“Dunkin’ Donuts has been part of the Westbrook, Scarborough and Windham communities for over 30 years, with each store serving over 2.3 million cups of coffee each year,” said Cathy Ducey, field marketing manager for Dunkin’ Donuts. “We’re pleased to thank our loyal customers for their continued patronage, and to give back to these communities by supporting area youth hockey.”

Throughout Dunkin’s Customer Appreciation Week, players from the

Portland Pirates hockey team will make appearances at Dunkin’ Donuts stores as follows: 7 to 8:30 a.m. Oct. 18, 742 Main St., Westbrook; 7 to 8:30 a.m. Oct. 19, 196 U.S. Route 1, Scarborough; 7 to 8:15 a.m. Oct. 20, 736 Roosevelt Trail, Windham.

The Pirates players will meet fans, sign autographs and hand out

merchandise and tickets to Pirates games. Dunkin’ Donuts will donate a portion of coffee proceeds generated during Customer Appreciation Week to area youth hockey programs.
