Most people have a duplicate of some or many tools. Why not donate your extra tools or buy new ones for the victims of Hurricane Katrina?

The Neighbor to Neighbor Hurricane Relief Fund is collecting new and used tools from people to donate to the people in the community of Slidell, Louisiana, a suburb of New Orleans. Our goal is to raise $100,000 in addition to collecting all manner of tools and building materials, including sheetrock and flooring. The people in Slidell who have no insurance and who have lost their jobs and homes will be the recipients of this aid. In mid-October a crew of 10 volunteers will go with whatever resources have been donated to help these people rebuild their homes and lives.

The Neighbor to Neighbor Hurricane Relief Fund has been established by a group of caring neighbors. A dear friend and neighbor Jeff Cuevas lives in Portland, but his roots are in Slidell, where he has many family members and friends in need of our help.
