This photo of the Shell gas station at 925 Main St. was taken in 1957 when Vincent Connors was the proprietor. Walter Whitten purchased the station and operated it as Whit’s Shell Station for a short period of time. Roger LeClerc purchased the business, and it became known as “Roger’s Shell Station” for many years. The station is now an Exxon Dealership, still owned by Roger LeClerc, and known as “LeClerc’s Service Center.”
