Darryl Wright has joined Maine Bank & Trust as the new market manager of the Scarborough Branch.

Wright has more than nine years of experience in banking, beginning as a teller in 1996 for Peoples Heritage Bank/TD Banknorth. He held several positions, including branch supervisor, customer service and sales manager, and was business development and sales manager for one of their supermarket branches.

Wright graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He has served as a member of the board of directors of Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce since 2003 and is currently president of the Westbrook Community Chamber. He is a resident of Westbrook.

Maine Bank & Trust is a 13-year-old, state-chartered commercial bank and trust institution with 12 branch offices in Cumberland, York and Androscoggin counties.
