I wish to thank the volunteers, parents, players and sponsors of South Portland National Little League. South Portland National has had a great run this year willing two District titles and two State titles. Everyone in South Portland should be proud of these girls and boys. Eleven-and-12-year-old Softball girls have moved onto the regional in New York and Junior boys will be heading to New Jersey for their regional.

I cannot thank the parents and volunteers of South Portland National enough for all their hard work and dedication to these children, from T-ball to Senior baseball. This year we hosted the District 6 11/12 softball Tournaments and 11/12 softball State Tournaments, with the help from parents and volunteers from baseball and softball being involved. South Portland National came together as one great team to put on two great tournaments. Thanks to everyone involved.

As we go forward past the baseball and softball season, we should feel a great sense of pride knowing that we have been able to provide these girls and boys with memories that they will have for a lifetime.

It has been my pleasure to be part of South Portland National Little League.
