I want to thank Westbrook’s Planning Board for their consideration for the people who live in the neighborhood that abuts Saunders Bros. Last Tuesday night, my concerns, as well as those of my neighbors, regarding noise, pollution, lighting, buffering, hours of operation, etc. were again worked over thoroughly at the Planning Board meeting. I feel, as a citizen of Westbrook, that we (the neighborhood) were heard and respected. Another concern arose at the meeting that I had not even thought about…that Wal Mart sells firearms, which is Wal Mart’s right under the Second Amendment. That guns can be sold so close to where people live and work is indeed American, but, alarming just the same.
